Science Museum in the North-East
Our journey begins at MUSE, the Science Museum in Trento, Trentino Alto Adige, a magic place for adults and children. There are permanent areas dedicated to kids as the Discovery Room, to find out about nature through our five senses; or and Maxi Ooh! For kids aged 0-5.
In Trieste, a costal city, in the Marine Aquarium you can see sharks and other species of Treiste Gulf. Alternatively, in the Natural History Museum we can admire more than 2 millions fossils and eat pizza among dinosaurs.
In Trieste you will find also the Science Centre Immaginario Scientifico. In this museum it is indispensable experimenting! Just like in the other two structures in Pordenone and Udine. Among their activities, we recommend the special Sunday dedicated to families.
Moreover in Udine, in the Archaeological Museum are hosted in the coloured Play Room and can visit the museum accompanied by funny cartoon bubble.
The lagoon city of Venice has his dinosaur too. You can see it in the Natural History Museum, a family-friendly palace houses in the Fontego dei Turchi, an unmissable place in Venice.
Remaining in Veneto, we continue to taste history in the Natural History and Archaeological Museum in Montebelluna, Treviso. Every Sunday you and your kids can excavate, as an archaeologist, searching for fossils or to be familiar with the ancient burials.
Science Center in Lombardy: Brescia and Milan
Talking about science, AmbienteParco in Brescia is a Science Center that try to promote sustainability. In this museum everything is conceived to make us more responsible and conscious, teaching the good practices to take care of our planet.
In Milan you can visit the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci, one of the most visited museum in the city. The Museum offers several opportunities: visits in exhibition areas, activities and labs in and outside the Museum, educational kits, training courses for teachers, workshops and educational projects.
In the Regional Capital you can also visit the Natural History Museum, the most ancient of the city. Here you can participate to educational activities as Palolab, Biolab or Greenlab.
Last but not least the Art & Science Museum, which propose a curious educational itinerary dedicated to kids: verify the authenticity in art and antiques.
